Hey guys i am new here to this forum. I am also new to the diesel trucks. I am looking to get one. I am looking at the 2007 2500HD CC 6.5 box. I have seen the LBZ what does this mean? And are there different options with the diesel engine? If so what are they? thanks Rich

There is no difference between 2 lbz motors except some have 2 alternators. There is a difference between the 07 classic lbz and the new body style 07 lmm. The new lmm has more emissions ( dpf, egr} and maybe a bigger turbo with a few more ponys and just maybe some new internals. Now that being said you might buy two identical lbz's and one may definately out run the other but on the build they are identical.

If you mean 07 lbz as opposed to the 07 1/2 lmm. The lbz has less pollution controls and can use LS fuel. The lmm needs ulsd.
