ok, I cleaned under the hood the other day used a rag and soapy water, tried being careful not to get the wrong things wet although I didn't have the truck running. Didn't really drive truck much until this morning. It seems like it is "missing" At once had a rough idle, when you get into it (throttle) it spits and sputters , not real bad, but bad enough to make me sick at my stomach. Oil pressure gauge acting funny sometimes 25 psi at idle, then it was 60. After a short 1 mile trip or so , trying to figure it out, parked and seen temp gauge at 210. Never been over 185 before.
Any suggestions? Hopefully something just got wet and I can drive it to let it "dry out"??
Help please.

Ok, someone has to know something? Have driven truck a few days since this first started and truck is almost perfect, except every now and then, while idling, it is like the truck "hiccups". Engine temp. is pretty normal. And in the mornings(50 degrees or so, outside temp.) When I start up, the oil pressure is high around 60 or 70psi. As it warms up, it gradually drops back down to 30 or so while idling.
Could changing to Mobil One syn. 5w-40 at 5k done this?
Any and all comments/suggestions is appreciated.
Thanks

Mobil 1 is not rated for a d-max it does not meet the specs in your owners manual and could void your warranty. You need to use Delvac 1 for a mobil brand oil that meets diesel engine specs.

Actually, I used Mobile One synthetic (Truck/SUV) (yellow cap). By the specs on the container is is rated for gas/diesel and even spec'd "CI-4" AND "CH-4".

BTW also seem to get some type of knock, like a piston slap, some type of clatter dosen't happen much or for very long , maybe under slight acceleration.
Tried Remote Diagnostics w/ Onstar even though I don't have an SES light and nothing came up.

Maybe some moisture got into some electrical connector, weather pack seals don't always keep 100% out
