I need a mount for an '02 and I was wondering if anyone has one out. We've got one on my dads '04 but I don't think it will fit an '02. Dad drove his stacked truck to the hunting camp this weekend and let's just say the D'Max Disease is spreading.

The ats and Trippin's overhead mounts will both work in 01 and 02s. I bet Trippin's mount works a bit nicer then the ats mount though. Tripping spent quite a bit of time refining his design.

I appreciate your help. The thing that had me was the '02 overhead console (LS) is a lot longer than the one in the '04 which just has a cubby hole and two eyeball lights i believe (LT). The '02 has all the spots for sunglasses, garage door openers, ect. but it has black plastic and some sort of snap-in cover where it looks like an option or a cubby hole should be. Is this the same console you guys are thinking of? I don't have either of the trucks here now and we all livr in different places so I can't just go out and compare. Were there two different overhead consoles in the '02's?

Yep I have installed the ATS mount in the console you are talking about. Trippin's is A LOT nicer and better viewing angles and it will work on that console as well.

There was only one overhead console available in 01 and 02.

OK good. So you just pop out the black plastic piece and install it like an '03-'04 right? That's good to know. My buddy that has the '02 wants to get rid of the hypertech after seeing the stacked '04 run. This thing impressed me also. My dad was like a kid with that thing haulin' a$$ and blowin' smoke! I don't know how long the tranny will last though. I know it's not much compared to you big dawgs but that predator really woke up the J/A combo. Thanks for the help.
