If you guys have not seen it before this is our BIG shop tow rig. Its a older truck but I think it still turns heads. Here is where I need your help. It belongs to my dad and I am thinking about doing some mods to it for him. He is way more simple than me but he does like having something that most don't see much of on the roads.

Please post ideas on mods I can do to it. I don't want to change the lift or wheels but I'm open to what ever you guys have.

You can always put a bigger turbo on it. Not sure what size or anything. Also if it is electrically controlled you could maybe have the ecm reflashed with a custom tune or have the injectors increased in size. Just my thoughts. Sorry I couldn't be any real help.

I forgot to say I don't know anything about this motor and what can be done to it. It has a turbo:rolleyes:. Don't fill like it. Who has and what is out there for these motors?

You can sell it and buy him a new one!

I would look for a new grill if they make one for those truck. Mirrors would be nice too like someone else said. How about air ride??? Don't own a truck that big so not totally sure whats out there for them... Nice looking truck thou...

How about painting it with chrome illsion paint and add chrome fixing's and paint the trailer to match it

road armour style front bumper loose the steps into the rig to something more updated trendy looking smoke out all the marker lights strip the factory badges, check to see if the newer trucks hoods are the same size or lower profile to update with the split headlights along with if it will fit, if not do a headlight graff. Big towbags to level out the rig when towing to get the stance level.

Yeah those headlights .... may want to freshen those up, maybe include the turns signals as well ,into an intergrated unit.

Well I do have a Kelderman rear air ride kit that has not been installed yet. The truck dosn't sag really it just is a little high in the front even without the trailer. Yea don't look right for a truck that size. when here bought it was like that already.

I like the idea about the front end. I need to look into that.

How about motor upgrade parts? What is made to pep it up?

What about that "_________ Mofia" television show on CMT? Those guys always have some great idea about big rigs. Send some pics and info to them for ideas, too.
