285's (the truck is dirty in all of the pictures)...

Backrack with 2 rear facing lights and 2 alley lights, as well as a FS highlighter mini-lightbar. There are also 2 under-bumper mounted lights.

Also shown is the 3500-clearance lamp. The tabs were cut off and a channel was cut into the backside of the lamp to run the wire into. This way the only holes that had to be made were two screws on each end (you could probably just use two sided tape if you didn't want any holes)...

Lights on...

Switches mounted in place of the cassette deck...

Rancho rs9000x's. I sent in for the free, upgraded in-cab controller. Wasn't going to use it because I had heard about problems with the old style, but since it's free what the heck.

And last, the rear leaf spring bands. They work great...no more slap. Thanks dmaxallitechhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif I also got the duramax emblem for the tailgate, the 3500 clearance bar, high idle kit, and some filters.

Future mods include (most likely in order):

1. 4" mbrp exhaust (409 SS)

2. afe stage 2 intake

3. Edge juice w/attitude

4. Chrome h2 wheels

5. Tranny upgrade (suncoast level III?)

6. Upgrade to hot juice

7. The list goes on, but i'll probably be more than broke by then.Edited by: RyanG

Nice rear lighting, I would drive around in reverse a lot if I had something like that.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

RyanG,

What type of lights did you use in the rear near the receiver?

I'm thinking about making a removable splash guard (similar to one at this link http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=120 (http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=1200) 0) The one that I am working on will mount to the factory 2" receiver. I will use this splash guard when towing my 5er and would like to mount driving/backup lights on the corners of the guard.

Thanks,

MaxRock

MaxRock - the lights I have under the bumper are made by Pilot. The kit comes with stuff to mount it on a reciever hitch, but I just used the mounting bracket and screwed it to the bumper. I also ran it off of a switch instead of the backup light wire.

I paid $25 at a local farm store, but i have seen them online too. They work great, they have a nice wide beam. Very compact and strong too.
