Any suggestions for 22" wheels and tires for stock LBZ '07? I am not planning on putting a lift kit. I also need to tow HEAVY ( 16,00lbs ) loads. Need wheel and tire combo to handle this load. Stock rims from GM are lost in the wheel well. Need to " bling " the truck a bit. What kind of offset do I need? Spacing?

How much toungue weight are you going to have? That is the question.
If you are not lifting and you get a 9" wheel - keep your offset reasonable (-10 or more positive) you can get the Nitto Terra Grapplers in a 285/50/22 E rated tire (weight rating of 3195 @ 80psi).
If you lift a little - Cognito - 4-6; you can probably get a 285/55/22 E rated (weight rating of 3525 @ 80psi). Nitto TG under there (because you have a classic).
I run 305/45/22s on my 04.5 CC SB currently - but the max I tow is 12k - The pic below is showing 305/40/22s - the sidewalls just couldn't handle the weight so I bumped up the tires size to the 45 series.
Next truck (new LMM( will either run 285/55/22 or Ill drop down to a 20in to get more sidewall and better weight rating.

Wish I would have gone with 22s not the little 20s. Looks sick

Tongue weight about 1000lbs. I plan on adding a gooseneck. will that help with the wheel sizing? Also , I do not want wheels and tires that are past the sides of the truck. i want to keep them inside the wheel well.

1000lbs is nothing. You should be fine with any thing from 305/45/22 (2910lb rated) up.
Keep with a 9inch wheel and if you want to ensure the FRONT is under the wheel well (remember the fronts stick out more than the rears) - you will need to go with a positive offset wheel. Something +10 or more.

NAH.. I think your truck looks sick with the 305/55/20s on it. Ill bet it rides better than with 22s ;)
Just get the terra grapplers instead of the dune grapplers nest time :D

These tires are almost done. I'm buying either Terra Grapplers or The Open Country AT in a 305/55/20. What do you guys like better.
I would probly be better off Selling my rims and tires and buying a new wheel and tire package. Paid 2,000 for these and the new tires will be around 1200.

IMO Grapplers look more offroadish than the ATs. I have had the ATs and they kick ass in the snow/ice. Good wear, etc. Just didn't think they looked very "truckish". To give you an idea; we had them installed on my wifes Mercedes ML. They were great tires though.

What is the weight rating on those 22" wheels?

On mine (AR Wolverines) it was higher than the stock wheels- I think they are 3200lbs or something. I had them checked before purchasing.
