posting this question for www.dualsportbc.com seems they have a bus with head gasket probs. is there a listed procedure for a back yard mechanic to do the job. thanks Ed

I dont particuarlly think removal of the Head is all too difficult(with the correct tools that is), easiest thing to do would be get a manual for that engine, that should give detailed instructions for removal.

They are one of the simplest head gaskets to do. Not much to them. If you get a head set from Cat it will have a paper with the torque specs and sequence. The only other thing is setting the valves, .015 intake and .025 exhaust. If you have any questions just ask.
