To those with modded trans, specifically transgo equipped. When going WOT with t/h ON the conv. locks up in 2nd, stays locked though 3rd, comes unlocked for the 3-4shift, locks again through 4th and stays locked in 5th. Do I have that correct? I am most curious with the 3-4shift. If I am correct with the converter unlocking for that split second during the 3-4shift, why does it need to unlock? Do the CO-PILOT trucks do this? Just something I was wondering.

not so sure..... all I can say is there is a slight hesitation between the 3-4 shift in T/H.... not so much when T/H is disabled.... Edited by: Blinky

Hmm..........I thought I read on here someone (Mike L. maybe) found that the converter unlocks for a split second on one of the gear shifts. If it is the converter unlock/shift/lock that I am feeling the Co-PILOT is looking mighty appealing.

I was told by ATS the alli computer has to see a certain amount of slip on a shift so the converter is un locked for a split second via the copilot as opposed to dropping pressure which would cause a slip so the copilot unlocks and locks the converter long enough for the alli computer to see what it needs to so it will stay happy. But it must happen faster then I can feel and I have no complaints so far.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif
