<font size="1"><span style="font-family: verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Has
anyone routed their Attitude cable through the firewall? It seems kind
of cheesy to run it through the doorjam. I'm going to look for a better
way to route it tomorrow, and I figured some of you have already done
this a time or 12.

Yep. I would never run anything the way they suggest. I always go through the firewall. You can drill your own hole or put it through an existing grommet, whichever you prefer.

Check the pics in my sig for routing. Starting at the overhead console, across the headliner, down the A-pillar, under the dash, through the firewall.

For my trips to the dealer, the Attitude monitor is removed from the console but just tucked into the headliner above the console. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif

Thanks Trippin, looks like a great solution. Did you feed it through the center of the grommet, or around the edge?

Mine goes around the grommet with all the other stuff going through
there. You may want to cut a small piece of window seal rubber to
put on the edge of the hole to keep from chafing your wires.

Large gromment on driver side, slide it out, cut you a hole beside the the main wiring allready there, easy and looks pro.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

I went around the grommet.

So far I have the Co-Pilot harness, Attitude wire, SPA gauge wiring and E-locker wiring all going through that one hole in the firewall. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif
