I saw a new air filter company flyer out the other day. They're called "Green". From what I can tell they're the same thing as K&N only they claim to be better (just like all they would). They even have this handy K&N to Green part number conversion table in the back of the book. My question is, has anyone heard of these guys? are they as good as they say? Would you put one in your D-Max?

I would do a search on google, seems you can find everything else there... good luck

Green is not blue, so it must suck....or in this case not suck. I'd stick
with the AC Delco paper..filters better and comes in a blue box...

Yes Google comes up with it, but I was more looking for testamonials from people that have actually run them, or know of people using/used them. I don't want any bias opinions from the "Green" website.

Thanks for your opinion Ox, now anyone else?

I have a friend who has a Green filter intake kit on his '04.5 LLY. He used to be a die hard K&N man, but he says the Green filter flows a lot more air. I don't know what the difference is, maybe deeper filter pleats. But it's still a cotton gauze filter with green oil instead of red or blue.
