Just got my Suncoast Level 3 done by Mike. Good work, fast turnaround, good price. Truck feels more responsive.

Now back to beating on Big Blue!

Uh Oh!

McRat has a tranny that will hold up under abuse. The streets and race tracks of Socal are no longer safe. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley16.gif

Tommy,

Its really tempting. Mike's shop is an easy 5 minute drive from where I work. The problem being, the total cost to me would end up being 3x what Mike would charge (in order to get my better half to approve the dealhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

I am moving from Alaska to California next month. I will be living in the San Francisco area. Where is Mike located? How much difference is there in running the SC3 compared to stock? How much $$$ am I looking at for an upgrade like this?

La'ish (Inglewood Transmission) so you have a haul. The difference is you will get the power to the ground so you will feel a major difference in ground speed! Shifts are firmer as is converter lock.

Cost doesn't out weigh the thrill and enjoyment and peace of mind!

Jeff,

Mike's shop is right next to LAX airport.

Blinky said it best "a 3+ ton sports car". http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Mac backed it up "Cost doesn't out weigh the thrill, enjoyment and peace of mind". http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

Another member once phrased it: "GM cut a few corners, I'm just putting them back". http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

Oh yea, Hey McRat? What happened to the "I just want to make Big Blue get into the 14's. I don't really want to flog it" stuff? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

Next you'll be bottle feeding him.

I do not believe McRat is the problem. I think his lovely wife Kat is the real terror in the family. I do not believe this lady lets any grass grow under their killer Vette. Be interesting to see what she could do in a sled pull. Listening Kat?

Kat,

I like what I'm seeing. Of course with all this rain we may all need some oversized Superswampers to keep the trucks afloat Saturday.
