ive been looking at tuners for a while now and im debating the banks six gun or the quadzilla stealth 2 tuner most likly ill get the quadzilla it would be great if i could get some input on some tuners and what do u guys think of the banks ram cold air intake?

Fill in your signature so we know what truck and mods you have. What are you wanting out of the tuner, and how much are you going to upgrade the drive train(mainly the tranny) and fuel delivery system for some of the hot tunes? I really like my PPE hot+2, but the tranny and fuel delivery system needs to be upgraded to fully take advantage of the higher levels on the tuner. I just run the level 3. As for commneting on other tuners I can not since I have never run a different tuner other than PPE. I am sure other with other tuners will speak up.

ive had the stealth 2 for about 4 months i like it only have it on 70 hp not tried the 135 setting im scared to mess up something:eek: :eek: . it all depends on what you want to do with youre truck. seems like most guys on here dont use the quad. but not sure why. others programmers seem to be more popular my 2 cents

Ive heard the Quad had alot of defuel issues...

I haven't dove into the tuners yet, but the Banks air system is pretty nice. I like mine a lot. I didn't see much difference when I put the exhaust on my truck until I added the air box. Exhaust sounded good but didn't perform any better. Truck felt better w/ both the exhaust and the air box. Maybe balanced the truck a little bit.

sorry about that i thought i wrote what i had its an 07 classic lbz duramax and as of now its stock but im gona but a banks cold air intake and a 4" cat-bak exhaust and as of whatr i want out of my tuner mainly somthing with alot of power with fair gas milage and wont kill ur tranny i seem to really like the ppe and quadzilla ?...

I don't think theses two can be attained with a stock tranny,depending on how much a lot of power is, I would recomend the PPE hot+2 if your choice is out of those two tuners.

One of my friends has an 03 cc dually with the quadzilla. He had the tune turned all the way up and messed up his stock tranny.( i know, STUPID) I've heard with the quadzilla you will need the tranny upgraded.

Mostly any chip with 100+ HP, You'll need to upgrade your tranny...Depends
