Hey DmaxalliTech!





I heard the thermometer can be made to read correctly in the winter while the truck is wearing the front cover. It involves moving the sensor, if memory serves. If that is true, could you please let us in on the secret? A picture of what the sensor looks like and where the relocated home is would be worth a thousand words.

The sensor on a 01 is located on the drivers side ,on the transmission cooler mounting bracket .... Access by removing plastic cover by rad support and hood catch ....

I positioned mine by the rad support down near the headlight bucket on the driverside in a hole that was already available .... It's a simple push pin style button mount ....

I'm looking forward to the pics! I have a Nictane filter to install this weekend, and doing both at the same time would be good. Especially as I have the grille cover on already...
