I haven't owned a diesel yet but started to think about it when I decided to order a new truck this week. Driving one at the local GMC made up my mind so I ordered a Fire Red 2005 Sierra (CC, LB, DA) a few days ago. I'm taking the best features of my current two trucks and combining them into this one (horsepower mods, 8" lift, 37" tires, 4.56 gears, audio and video upgrades ect...). The truck will probably go from the dealer to my shop and stay there until the mods are complete. I'll post details as this comes today. The dealer tells me that the truck should arrive sometime in December.

I'll post some pics as the project goes along. I can't leave any of my vehicles alone so they usually end up modified to some extent. Some of the wildest has been the 13 second Suburban and a '98 Z-28 that made 672 rear wheel horsepower.

The mods pile will be starting off with the gears. I should have them this week. I'm going to wait until after SEMA to get the power mods together. I'd like to see if there is anything new while I'm not there.

tbyrne, I looked at your surb for sale!! That is a machine!!!!

I'll miss that truck even though I don't drive it as much as I'd like to.
