I realy like the remote posts for jumping another vechile or in my case equipment. My only complain is that the + terminal is kinda hard to get at w/just being a nut, yet the ground is nice and big. Im sure tehy didnt put a big + in so that people wouldnt mess it up, butim wondering if anyone has changed theres to something similar to the ground or am i just in a hole in my thinking?-Adam

I always thought something like this (http://www.warn.com/truck/accessories/quick_connect_all.shtml) would be cool to have on the front of the truck. They sell a boostercable set for that quick disconnect too. I don't know how much all that stuff costs though.

Edit: Looks like they sell a kit with everything you need. here (http://www.warn.com/truck/accessories/quick_connect_cables.shtml)Edited by: WAskier

I always installed dual terminal batteries (posts and lug holes) to be
able to "jump" and the dual terminal batteries come with caps over the
posts that I leave on until the posts are needed.

A good way to make your own Quick connect is to get the male/female connectors from a company that supplies electric forklift parts, it's the way forklift batteries are connected for a quick change. Very heavy duty cable can be had at a welding supply. It's easy to mount on end of the quick connect in the grill so you don't even have to open the hood to jump off another vehicle. A lot safer that way because no body parts are exposed to moving truck partshttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

a64pilot,

That's a great idea. Someone should post that in the DIY section!

all this stuff can be bought at NAPA, I have installed these on a lot of trucks.
