I know that Edge is comming out with an Evolution for the LMM, but when? Does anybody have any specs on it yet?

Not to long, i read a post on here that someone was bata testing for edge and it also told you when regen was in progress.

I am beta testing currently...
It does tell when in regen, it runs like a hot rod on level 3 (high as I'll go).
The only issue so far is that the tire size calculator does not update the Attitude speedo. This is important to most of us that have oversize tires but do not want to re-cal the dash speedo. I'm sure this is a minor glitch and is what Beta testing is all about.
I am taking a 600 mile trip this weekend and I will hand calculate my mileage and report on Monday.

Thanks for the details,do you have any pics of the dash pod? I hope they make it so you can recalibrate your speedo, thats one of many reasons why I want one. I think it's the best programmer for the money. Does it still have an EGT probe?

They are working on a Pod holder that is custom fit to the dash and post but it is not done yet. Current mount is a simple velcro'd L bracket.
It does have an EGT probe. They installed everything in less than an hour as I watched.

Note on the speedo... As I understand it, it won't calibrate the dash speedo; only the Attitude unit which is one of my displays (of 4). This actually keeps the miles down on the truck by 16% in my case with the 35's.

As far as the non functioning Attitude/speedo issue goes, I think it was me. You must input the stock tire size AND the current tire size. An oversight on my part.

Overall what do you think? I like the flexibility of the Edge but have also been considering tuning the truck with EFILive.

I called them and asked them last week and they told me that they are in testing and would be available in the next few months. ( I wish they could just reprogram the juice I have off of the LLY), but they can't.

That's interesting. I'm going up there this afternoon so they can update my beta tester with a few changes. It didn't sound as if they were done to me but I will ask them today and get the real scoop.

I ordered it thru Competition Specialties and he told me they would have it this week, unless he is feeding me a line of BS, which seems probable since you are still testing for them.....I will call him and re-verify. On the straight pipe I do have 2 codes thrown, not sure what they are yet but it has not affected anything except the autostart yet. Much more HP though, sounds bad a$$. I am sure the codes are because of the sensors being unplugged, I have read from others that have left the sensors in that they have limped their trucks when they straight piped them, I unplugged everything and have not had a problem yet. Let me know what you hear from Edge if you would, I have seen them advertised on a couple other websites as well that they are available, kinda wierd.

OK, here's the scoop,
(Tbyrne, yes I'm a tester, are you the Raylar dealer :cool: )
They were scheduled for the first week of July but there is a small code issue they are working (P0101 Mass Air) which may delay the release. They are working on it diligently and I'm confident that they'll straighten it out quickly.
It seems to cause an "active" regen then throws the code which in turn disables remote start until it clears itself (I just found out I can clear it myself :rolleyes: )
Other than that it has been great and really seems to help my economy.
I have driven 50 miles since they swapped my unit yesterday and it is flawless but it hasn't regened yet either.
I also turned down my low end response so that I didn't load the DPF more than necessary on low end. I can tell with it this way that it's bit less responsive off of low rpm (obviously) but when the turbo kicks in hang on :) :)
End of July sounds reasonable to me.
They didn't sound real comfy yet and they seem the types that will solidly fix it before releasing.

What level can i safely run the edge on and not worry bout my transmission. I like to go fast :)

What is the max HP/Torque at highest level? Just curious. I have heard that the 5th level gives 85HP from some people, and from others I have heard that there is a level 6 unlocking 150HP.
