: Replace injectors myself?

I have talked to several people on the road about their problems with the injector replacement problem on '02 Duramax's. Most say that after their brakedown and warranty work their truck is never the same and have many other problems because of this failure(wiring harness and Allison to name a few). I have an '02 Duramax 4x4 crewcab w\36K, use Amsoil Bypassfilter system, K&N airfilter, and Stanadyne additive.Should I have these replaced myself to avoid this hassle or let it ride? Also, any ideas on what this would set me back and are there better after market parts available\recommended? Any help provided will be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, buy them outright and replace them yourself. You surely don't want wiring harness issues or Allison problems after injector replacement as most do. Great first post!

I put injectors in once and then the taillight bulb burnt out.
