Well. Enough is enough. Looking to make a pilgrimage over
the boarder. My quest is to find the holy Shell Rotella 5W40
synthetic oil.

I am looking into the Niagara Falls, Buffalo New York areas.



Anyone know what places carry it? And what volumes it comes in? Price would also be good, too please.

Most Walmart stores have Rotella T 5w-40 synthetic in 1 gallon jugs for (IIRC) $12.88.

I also find it at Walmart, however they don't always stock with the diesel oils. Often I see it on the top shelf somewhere, and have to ask an "associate" to get it down. They may be having supply problems or its not one of their main line products.


I run it year round here in northern colorado. Our tempretures don't get either too hot or too cold, but the truck does start better on cold mornings. Instead of driving all over looking for it, perhaps someone should send you some via UPS.

Speaking of shell rotella 5w-40 synthetic; I use it in the winter months in minnesota, but during the warmer months I use shell rotella 15w-40 conventional. Is there any problems that could arise from switching back and forth?

I have been told no. Someone suggested to stick with one brand, for both.
