I have a 2004 LLY with 6000 miles thought it would be good to get the latest calibration even though I was not experiencing any problems. Well all that changed when I Had the new calibration installed now I have a very noticeable surge at low speed with engine at idle and foot on brake. Injector rates are all good any suggestions? I told them I would like to have the old calibration installed they said there was no going back once you install the new calibration is this true?

Thanks AL

Same thing here with 3500 miles. No big problems to begin with and now I have this "new" problem.

There Is No Feasable Way To Go Back To Calibration. But I Would Try Some Power Jr, By Standyne, Many Pray By It. Add It To The Fuel, Many Say It Takes Care Of Their Problems

I asked the following question on the this thread (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=432612&posted=1#post432612) to see if there was a way to "go back" to your previous tune if you had a flash tuner like the Predator.

Question - If you have a flash tuner like the Predator and you have downloaded your stock tune program into the Predator and have your PCM reflashed at the dealer, DO you re-download your new stock tune (after the new re-flash) into the Predator as an updated "stock Tune"? And if you didn't, wouldn't it be possible to go back to your old stock tune by downloading it from the Predator if the new dealer "re-flash" was causing problems?

going backwards is not allowed.. under some circumstances, GM will release a VCI number we can use but getting one for that reason is like pulling teeth.
