Well my trucks been losing coolant slowly for a while and also holding pressure in the overflow tank and being a 2001 I was pretty sure from reading on here what it was...sure enough the dealer called me a few minutes ago and told me it is head gaskets. Now I was just wondering what is the average cost of replacing the head gaskets since iam out of warranty (124,000 miles). Im pretty sure I would have them install ARP headstuds inless there is anything better? Also any better head gaskets other then OEM? Thanks for all your help, any advice is greatly appreciated.

as far as i have heard the arp head studs are same as all the others on the market or the others are the same as theirs as for head gaskets unless your going crazy on the boost the stock ones have been holding up fine under 50 to 60 lbs of boost but thats just what i have heard i could be wrong if not someone will chime in and correct me as far as cost i dont know but good luck
