Looking at purchasing a tech 2.
Anyone know if I need the Candi module to use it on a 05 LLY Dmax?
Among other reasons for having the scanner, will this allow me to reprogram my nav unit to a non lux model. I know it will unlock the vin but need to reprogram it to non lux.

No you don't need the candi module for an 05. Only 06 and up require it. But if you buy one with the candi module the candi module will be easy to sell. I know I am looking for one ;)

You can not reprogram a Nav unit to non lux. Machomachodan (I think that's his name here) can though.

Yeah I have had no luck contacting him through PMs or Email. If there is anyone with his ## I could really use his service...
