Does anyone have a suggestion on what settings I should should put my electronics on. Last year I ran the quad on the highest setting 215 or 220 can't remember which it is and the edge hot juice on the 4th setting. I never threw any codes or limped it. This year added 50% over injectors and now am not sure what to put the controlers on. Any help would be great.

The tranny is stock I know I'm skating on thin ice. I pulled last year probably 15 hooks and never limped it or had any codes come up. That was with the quad on the highest setting and the hja on level 4. I also never had any problems with bursting. I have had bursting with just the edge by itself since the big nozzles. I hate to quit using the quad because of the higher rev limiter. I am thinking about 50 horse setting on the quad and level 2 or 3 on the edge.

How does it drive on the street with the Quad on 215 and the edge stacked? If it bursts, keeping dropping the edge down a level till it quits. Pull it in that setting then. Definately have the quad on the 215 level. Do you have a lift pump?

No lift pump and single stock CP3. I realize I need to upgrade in several areas. Does bursting damage anything?

What did you have everything set on today? I was there watching. I know you were sure rolling the coal whatever it was set on.

I ran the quad on the 50 hp setting and the edge on the 125 hp setting. It didn't burst but I left it in 2nd gear and didn't get enough ground speed. I didn't think I could keep the rpm up in third gear. In hind sight I wish I would have run 3rd. Some of the gas trucks that beat me don't normally.

It still ran pretty good. I didn't see the actual numbers but it didn't look like corbin or farris put much more than 10ft on you and there trucks both ran good. Nobody had anything for that red dodge though, don't know what he had but that truck was mean.
Are you pulling in martinsville on the 26th?

My truck might be there but I won't. My daughter has a softball game that starts at 7.

It happens when you have low rail pressure and the motor is starving for fuel. Its like a popping noise.
