My predator sometimes "locks up" I guess you could say.. If I try to change programs, it will say vin number not found-to restore data push a button... Well, it's not that easy.. Sometimes it's taken as long as an hour and a half for it to restore data.. That's trying over and over the entire time.. The truck won't start or move when it does it either.. The starter won't even engage.. Just a warning on the predator.. I hope you don't have the same problem.. The 120 does run and shift smoothly... Straight pipe sounds great.. I did get pulled over once for the noise though...

I've never had a problem with mine locking up the truck - I've heard
that if you have onstar, you have to remove the fuse while you do it or
it may screw it up.

At minimum;<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Lose the stock muffler; Straight pipe or aftermarket just depends on your preference. EGT’s will come down an easy 100 deg.
Install an egt gage. The predator runs hot, you’ll want to keep an eye on it.
I’m still running the stock intake (for now) so I will not comment on that.
Don’t load the 120 tune. You will not want to go back down to any of the other tunes. In most cases the Allison can’t hand the 120 tune and will start to slip (Just believe me).
If you tow, use the lower tunes and keep an eye on the egt’s.Start saving, your just scratching the surface and it’s all “got to have more” from here on out….
