For those that are looking to change to an aftermarket TOC, these fittings will allow you to retain your existing lines. They adapt to the existing 5/8" jiffy tite cooler line. I am making these available for both LB7 and LLY. For cooler threads of M22-1.50. Just need to know which color clips you have, orange or purple. $12.75 each, discounts for 20 or more.

The fittings replace the AN-10 fittings sold by the cooler dealer for $7 each, which you save by not buying them. The setrab cooler shown is also for sale, replaces the stock cooler in it's location (same line spacing) for 50% more tranny cooling capacity.

My clips have no color? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif

But I think I had some spare O'range that I have used.

The 01 and 02 are orange, 03 and 04, purple. I think they changed in mid 02.

Seems like a fair shake fitting for a fitting when I get my cooler ,but you can short me one Jiffy Tight clip to be fair, you know how rumors get started.

Also now have adapters that convert an-males (most cooler fittings) to the GM stock lines with clip.

What kind of a temperature drop do you get using this setup?

Test data, 55 mph in clear air stream, 215 degree tranny fluid, 1.5 gal/min, cooled to 142, that's 73 degrees drop. Realize, these are perfect lab conditions at low flow, not necessarily representative of actual allison parameters. If this sound like a disclaimer, it is. My personal experience on vehicle showed it doubled cooling capacity.

The fans are effectively a 55 mph stream. So the same drop can be expected if locating the tranny in clear stream air at 55 mph.

Is this a turnkey cooler. ie: unbolt mine and directly bolt yours in?????

Yes, as soon as the brackets are finalized. The cooler is an in-place replacement, which can be upgraded later with fans. You have to relocate the cooler to mount the fans, they are 4" thick. This is a seperate upgrade, lines, relay thermoswitch, etc.
