Looking at some 17x10 rims. What size of tire would fit on these? How wide are the H2 wheels? I have seen some sets of those floating around pretty cheap

H2 wheels are 8.5" Wide x 17" Diameter.

H2 tires are 315/70R17

just called and they said the rims are 17x9 so would I need a bigger tire or would the H2 work

Should work just fine if you ask me. The 315's bulge a little on the 8.5" rims. 9's should do fine.

Just watch out for rubbing. With the wider rim you're going to run into clearance issues in your fenderwells depending on how large the tire is. I run 10" wide rims and have minor rubbing issues with 315/75R16 tires even with a 6" lift in the truck. The 315/70R17 (H2) tires are about the same height and same width as mine, so you shouldn't have a problem as long as your backspacing is 4.5" and no less.

I've heard of alot of people running the H2 rims/tires without lift with no problem. Can I just run these with the torsion bars cranked?

You should be able to. A 285 tire will always fit, however with the 315's you will have to trim some of your front air dam.

Just remember when you crank the T-bars, be sure to get an alignment done after!
