I looked into this before I did mine myself and a local diesel shop quoted me 8 hrs provided they didn't run into any problems. I think 8 hrs is a little on the high side. Dave Tracy 06-10-2007, 03:38 PM Dealership and reasonable don't compute, LOL. First time changing injector it took me over 8 hrs, second time 5hrs. Doing it a few more times maybe around 4hrs. I believe dealers charge around 95US$ per bosche injector. So I would guess around 1100 to 1200US$ total, more than that is robbery. Getting the work done at a injection shop would be less likely. My local shop charges 60US$ per delphi injector and and 75US$ per hr. labour, so that would be around 850US$ total assuming 5 hrs labour, which sounds fair to me. I changed Can.$ to US$ | ||
