Hauln' 10-13-2004, 10:48 AM What do I do? I installed my Edge in my LLY last night, does not seem to have near the guts my LB7 did. Stock to Stock my 04 LB7 would leave my 05 LLY sitting still. I was hoping that my LLY would "wake up" with the Edge but it dosen't seem to have it. What could be wrong?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif Scotty Seelen 10-13-2004, 11:10 AM The only thing I can tell you is from the acceleration reports I've read, the LLY is slightly slower than the LB7. Apparantly, it takes longer on the LLY to build boost off the line. This is comparing these two motors stock. Kennedy 10-13-2004, 11:48 AM Can you tell that the Edge is even working? I know that sounds like an odd question, but with 05 being so new and the ZF 6 being so scarce, plus less TQ than the Alli version, there could just be a programming issue... McRat 10-13-2004, 12:07 PM Set it on level 3, max low speed fueling, then nail it from a stoplight. If you see a HUGE black cloud as you leave the intersection, it's working. No smoke = no worky. Hauln' 10-13-2004, 01:44 PM I let it warm up, now it smokes some on 3, a little bit more on 4, and a little bit more than 4 on 5. But just does seem to have it all there, I mean you can feel that it working just not at quick or responive as I am familar with. I really don't know what to do? Butt-o-meters are poor tuning tools. Some things feel quicker that aren't and other things that seem not to make a difference do. FASTOYS 10-14-2004, 08:50 AM I guess you could go run it from point a to point b and see what mph it runs without / with Edge. That would tell you if is working . Go roughly a 1/4 mi distance if you can and it should be at "least" 5 mph better ! Most chips i put in for people get anywhere from 5- 10 mph more.
