i just got efilive and was wandering if anyone could me how to calibrate 4 bigger injectors, and if once i do that, how can i turn them down (pulse rate, fuel pressure, timing)? I will also turn up the boost. Do you think this will keep the black smoke & egts down untill I get the bigger turbo?

You'd better get a dual CP3 setup to keep up with those injectors. You can turn the pulse time down. This is the same putting in smaller injectors.

You might want to do some logging and see what your rail pressures are at and adjust the pulse widths to keep it at a minimum of 19Kpsi with 23Kpsi commanded. I don't normally run lower than 21Kpsi.

Even with stock injectors we run out of rail pressure with larger pulse widths since the stock CP3 can't keep up.

Start out with stock pulse width and work up in iuncrements from there. You will also probably need a better transmission setup if you plan to push the power.

thanks 4 the info. what would u recommend 4the tranny?
also, what do u think about running the edge with efilive? can a good tunner make it work 4 the better?

Running an Edge with EFILive is a waste of time. You can't log anything while the Edge is on, so you can't tell what changes you need to make.

That's not to say it won't work, but it's not the best option, IMO.

You can do so much more with EFILive than you can with an edge box. I tried to have both at first but it didn't last long.
