Is there any way to get the juice/attitude to come on before engine temps reach 180. Getting anoying with the temps getting colder around here. Matt Edited by: dpfcummins

Mine comes on at 142 degrees. I know of several other LB7s that do as well.

I hear the LLYs are different.

The edge kicks in on my LLY at 135. I don't feel anything until I reach 41% throttle. I'd rather be patient and wait for the engine to reach full temp before hammering on it

I'm pretty sure mine aint on till 180. Dont remember where i got that number but it sure doesnt feel like anything before 180. Can any one veryify that their's also doesnt come on till 180. I do have version 4.81. I wouldnt mind 140 but 180 takes a while. matt Edited by: dpfcummins

dpfcummins,

I'm with you. I originally thought it came on at 150, but that
was when I was set to level 1. When I went to level 2, I noticed
that there was some power added at 150, but when it hits 180, it adds
full power. I have done many tests, to confirm and I am pretty
sure that 180 is the magic number. Routinely my engine temp is
below 190 and I assure you I have all the Juice's power. I have
an LLY. These are all the temps displayed on the actual Attitude,
since it doesn't care what the instrument panel gauges say. . .

I agree with baimpala. 180 is the number that gives the final kick.

is there any way to get rid of it? I have enough discipline to not beat on a cold motor

It would sure be nice, but I haven't found a way yet. . . Maybe that
should be Fingers next trick. A bias for the engine temp sender,
that will trick the Juice into seeing higher temps than reported until
it actually reaches 180. . . .

It starts adding power at 150°, and goes up as the engine temp increases until it reaches full "rated" power at 180°.

Not sure if it's linear or not. I'm guessing it is.

Hot Juice here, level 4, first little bump at 142, next little bump at
153. Repeatable as clockwork. I have a mile long hill that
I can clearly feel it on. Boost comes up too, a pound or so each
time.

After 153, I dunno, because I'm going downhill then for quite a ways.

180 on LLY here too. I'm positive of that. I don't feel much of a change at all until 180. It's great if you're already flooring it at about 175 and it kicks in right when it shifts to 3rd.. a serious boost, and usually some smoke to boot!
