Im not sure y or how but my truck has been resetting the hours meter.
i have 45000 miles now and 42 hours!!!! :eek:

I think the repair is i.p. replacement., but then the new ip has to have the hours programmed into it, if you don;t know that info, then the new ip will read 0 hours.

I've noticed mine did the same , kinda weird, I just ignored it.

There are no stupid questions when you don't know and are asking for help.

You got to slow down. Miles divided by hours = avg. MPH. You are avgeraging 1072MPH. :eek: I thought stock we are limited to 95MPH.

Sorry my mistake...I should have explained it better. also no such thing as a dumb question, I should know cause if there is a dumb one, lord knows i woulda asked it by now..lol. If the hour meter is has reset and nothin else is worng then there is no problem if you don't mind it reading 0 again.

Cluster needs to be replaced. Mine kept resetting. They replaced the cluster and no problems since.
