I looked my New Black Sierra SLT 3500 SRW CC LB 4X4 Duramax over from top to bottom and even asked they NOT detail it and clean it up with the shiny stuff sprayed on the tires etc.(I was so happy even with facing $850.00 payment down the road)Heres what they did to a brand new $48,205. truck VIN 5F817662,Farrish GMC at 10925 Lee Highway Fairfax VA.22030 "Chemical Ecthed" ALL 6 Windows with an Cheap Insurance Service Co. 800#(800-551-2314) along with a 6 digit code in the glass;front, back and sides.With dark tint it looks like" U-Know-What" because the letters and numbers are 1/4" high.The phone number has Nothing to do with the truck or myself in any way.I'm told by a body shop the damage cost exceeds $2150.00 to replace the windows,Over 2 thousand dollars in damage caused by Farrish Ponitac GMC to my new truck.Farrish's Business Manager (703)352-4000 said they would fix it at MY Expense!My Expense? I spoke with both GM and GMAC,they both said that this is not required,that some dealers choose to do this for profit( VIN:# Only).They did not ask or tell me about this service,OR get my consent to etch my truck.I wound have not bought it. Buyers Beware!Check your windows and tell the dealer not to ruin the windows,and look over the vehicle before taking delivery.I would never ever buy from Farrish again.And would steer people as far away as possible.How would you like a $55K Yukon XL Denali with a Dearfield Beach dealeship's insurance co cheap toll free phone number tatooed on your pride and joy.That cost an arm and a leg?Farrish GMC Will do damage to your new ride! Why did you accept delivery on it or was this after delivery? If after delivery I would take them to small claims court to collect if they won't replace the glass or give you a different vehicle as a replacement.
