Has anyone replaced the starter on their 6.6. Mine squakes once in a while when trying to crank and I want to repair it before I am looking at a ring gear job. It looks a little ugly to access, just wondering if any one has done the job. Thanks

Removed to access T/C bolts.


Remove wheel well liner by removing the two piece clips and a few wire Lomb Christmas tree fasteners.


Couple bolts and wire connections,piece of cake.Disconnect the batteries prior to starting to remove the starter.
