I like my PPe hot+2 but it will kill a stock tranny on the higher settings. Looking for a tuner comes down to what you want it to do and the price range. Efi allows you to right your own tunes and adjust the engine parameters as well as the tranny parameters how ever much or little you chose(in a nut shell). Mcrat in the vender's area and other as well sell their Efi with a race tune

EFILive is custom tuning software. It comes with Data logging capabilities and a very comprehensive scan tool in addtion to the tuning features.
In theory the HP, MPG and drivability of the vehicle are in your control. To make the transition to custom tuning easier, most vendors will throw in a starter tune. Usually this is a tow tune of 60-75HP that gives you on average better results than most of the handhelds, and allows you to compare the difference between your stock and modified tune. This (inconjunction with reading forums and datalogging) sets the scene for you to determine what to change in future.
Our product isn't just limited to Diesels either, we offer tuning for most late model GM vehicles (supported vehicle list is in my sig), and our hardware can tune multiple vehicles. FlashScan V1, up to 25 controllers, while FlashScan V2 up to 221 vehicles.
Feel free to download our free software (see my sig), and download some tunes from the tune library to get a feel for what you can do with EFILive.
Cheers
