Ok Ive read alot of threads on how to get the blasted thing off i just aint had much luck. My bearings went hopefully due to the fact that im haveing to run higher rpms because of a bad tranny. Im not trying to gain pitty from anyone but Im in dire need of a stock turbo preferably one round the indiana ohio area. Im a college kid thats close to graduation and i havent the money to go with an aftermarket turbo due to the fact i still owe my boss for a suncoast V rebuild kit thats sitting in his shop. and i have tool payments.

first question does anyone have or know where i can get a good stocker? I can pay a fair amount for it.

Second question is it out of the question just to pull the compressor side of the turbo and swap a new one in?

any thoughts or help would be highly apprecaited

Try woodruff diesel they have several stock turbos laying around. I would say josh will make you a good deal. I can give you a good deal on a auroar 5000 thats new. By the way they are located by wilmington.

I have a 2 stock turbos in my shop. One was off an 03 with about 50k miles the other just came off my truck 200k miles and has a weak waste gate. If you want them let me know I will let them go cheap. Pm me and I will give you a phone number.

THey are a pain I did mine this last weekend.
