Alright I am going to Gateway to take my truck to test and tune tonight to make a couple passes and put a Powerstroke in its place.

You can see what all I have done to my truck in the signature and I think it should be good to go for a couple boosted launches. I just wish I had a set of spring clamps to put on but its a little to late now. Here are my couple questions.

How much boost do I want to launch with? I will not be lowering the torsionbars so it is going to be at stock height.

Should I run the trans in Tow/Haul or regular?

Anything obvious that I need to know, I have read the procedures for getting the boost up and then bumping the second light and everything and I know to air down my rear tires.

I'm in spr and you can barrow clamps :D I'd go with ya but I dont wana embarass myself. Last I heard they were still calling out my name and I dont wana show up with a mid 13 secodn ride ):h

You have a good front end set up with the nose down and the shocks. Try starting at 5-7 She should hold that. Work your way up from there. You can pretty much hot lap her at gateway so you should have plenty of time to get your launches down.

Might try droping some weight like the spare tire at home.

Remember when you yank the T bars to jack up the front end of the truck or use the t bar unloading tool. And get some antisieze to smear on em when you put em back in.

Hell if my truck runs mid 13's there going to get to see a 260 lb man do cartwheels in the parking lot.

Also the front will NOT be getting lowered this time, I might in the future but not this time, no time tonight.

It takes no time to do it. Jack up the front, spin out the bolts. Measure or mark the ends of the bars so you know were to set her back to. I'd realy recomend it. You can do it at the track or if you dont have huge tires you can probably do it at home and drive it there with them droped.

I might do that next week, the gal that owns the ford is suppose to go then!!! The only reason I have a time problem is that I live 30 minutes the opposite direction from Gateway when I leave work and I dont get off until 4:30.

On a side note, now I have time to get a set of spring clamps.:D Where can I pick a set up at Ratlover???
