: PPE vs AFE 4" Exhaust?

I just purchased a 4" turbo back exhaust from a vender who listed the exhaust system as an AFE exhaust, but when the box arrived it was a PPE (Jerry Jardine) exhaust system. I called the vender and asked if I had recieved the wrong system. He went on to say that PPE manufactures the systems for AFE and I had just gotten one of the boxes labled PPE instead of AFE. At first look the systems look the same, but the major difference I noticed is that the PPE muffler is a 30" x 6" and the AFE is 30" x 8". I called PPE and spoke with them and they did say that they were a vender for AFE in the past but would not say much more. I also called AFE and spoke with them. AFE also said that PPE did manufacture systems for the in the past but not anymore. AFE said that they produce their systems in house now except for the SS 8" muffler which is manufactured by MagnaFlow. The PPE system is 14 ga. steel with the 6" reversable muffler, while the AFE is 16 ga. steel with the 8" reversable muffler. I am torn with sending the system back for the AFE system I paid for, or keeping the PPE system which has thicker ga. steel, but a smaller diameter muffler which may be louder than I want. The other thing that AFE mentioned is that their systems are now manufactured with the least amount of bends for a more flow through system. Any and all thoughts would be much appreciated. I hope this post can remain on the main page as to get as much input as possible before being moved over to exhaust section. Thanks again in advance.
