I got my Quad 110 upgraded from 1.20 to 1.23. Before the surge at 2000 rpm was tricky at best to deal with. It was to the point I was going back to stock and just use the speedo correct feature. It didn't matter which level it was at.

Version 1.23 is much smoother. It also has lost the touchy throttle response but low end power seems down. It takes more pedal to do the same as v1.20. If you want max performance v1.20 seems the way to go. For dailey driving I'll give up some low end for drivability. I was worried the way it acted couldn't be good for the clutch/flywheel long term. This tune seems more driveline friendly.

I agree with the driveability of the latest quad. Mine has a little surge in second gear once you hit 2000 rpms (hold on). typically, I just shift before I hit 2000 in 2nd and shift normal from there up. Every other gear seems fine with essentially unnoticeable surge. Of course, you don't notice the surge too much either when you drag around 12000 + pounds.

I have the 1.20 as well, and I just learn to drive around the surge..seems to all but go away after the engine is completely up to temp, and only in second and 3rd gear is it noticeably, I have gotten in the habit of letting off the gas a hair right as it comes in or shifting early..both ideas work.
