I bought a locked ECM from a member which was tuned by a pretty well known programmer on the site. After speaking w/ both parties I was told he would switch it over to my vehicle for a very reasonable fee. So, I bought the ECM and had it shipped back to have it reprogrammed. It's been about 3 weeks now since it was delivered to this vendor and I'm having a really hard time getting any sort of attention.

My question is unless this person unlocks it am I stuck with a locked ECM that no one else can tune? I really wanted to work this out but the truck has been back to stock for about a month and a half now and I'm over it. What do you guys think I should do? I appreciate it.

Nothing. Not returning my calls or emails as of lately :mad:. It's only worth $100 to him to switch it over so I understand not being very motivated but that's what I was quoted. I'd have agreed to more for better service:). I sold my Edge/boost stick combo for a screamin deal since I thought I was getting a such great deal on this setup.

I don't really want to make a big issue out of it. I understand people get busy, sick, their stars aren't in perfect harmony, whatever, I'm not going to speculate. I'm just at the point of cutting my losses and having JK tune it which would cost me quite a bit more, which I really was not prepared for at this time. Such is life.

Basically I'm a little unsure of this "locked" issue.

Robert purchased the ECM from another member here about three weeks ago, I sent him the necessary PDF file and did receive the waiver a few days after that.

He was also told he needed to pay the transfer fee and shipping back, I did not hear from him for about a week after that, so I was unsure what what going on.

He then called me and I was on the road and could not take his information at that time, I asked him to call me back and he did leave a message that I did not return due to moving into my new home over the long Holiday Weekend.

I apologize for not getting back to him sooner, but I was very busy moving my family to our new home and I did not in fact answer the phone or return emails as my Internet and PC were down for the move.
