This would be easy enough to test out, but I thought I'd save myself the trouble by asking you all. :)
Does diesel melt standard plastic containers like gas does? I need a container to wash my motorcycle chain in and everyone tells me to use diesel/kerosene.
Thanks,
Shawn

I've kept diesel in a amsoil four quart container for several months with no melting or other ill effects.

I put diesel in a cut off top milk carton for cleaning things and it has never melted one.
diesel doesn't seem to eat stuff like gas does.
