Since my 2006 dually was new I have occasionally had my brake pedal kickback when applied. The brakes seem to work fine and will stop this heavy truck even loaded to the gvw. This feedback is something that I have NEVER experienced with any other vehicle. The dealer said it's an ABS symptom and not a problem.

:Wedgie: Any ideas??

It almost sounds like you lose hydraulic assist now and then . Does the steering get harder to turn also ?

I have posted about this before. Mine kicks back every time I step on pedal quickly. Has done it since I picked it up. Also my steering, when stopped, is very hard. When I say hard, I mean absolutely no power assist. I would like to know how to fix myself, as I almost refuse to let anyone other than me work on my truck, regardless of warranty!

Sounds like a hydra boost issue...

The ABS will kick the pedal back up when activated to release pressure on the brake system that has been forced by the brake pedal so the wheel may turn and regain traction. It will then allow the pedal to be pressed again allowing pressure back to the caliper to regain braking pressure. It does this several times a second but if the wheel looses its traction and it cannot be regained then the pedal may come right back to the top even if your standing on it. Downside to this is if you have a faulty sensor or bad wheel bearing then the ABS will perform in this manner when you do have traction and your vehicle will take much longer and a greater distance to stop. This could make for some pucker factor in city traffic.

No other symptoms Steering is fine.

Floriduramax ... nobody touches my dually either. I did have my fuel filter changed at the dealership once (too lazy)
You would think they can;t screw a fuel filter up....wrong.
