Wondering about heat shield on Manifold where EGT Probe needs to be drilled and tapped... LB7 owner buddy of mine said his had no type of heat shield, the LLY does..





Is it hard to remove or was I told it will need to be drilled tapped in the wrong place..

You'll be fine. Take the inner fender liner off, and look at the
manifold. You will see a nice big spot at the rear where the
shield doesn't cover it. I got two taps in that spot, so you'll
be fine.



There is a DIY in the DIY forum on how to install them. . . Check it
out, the LB7 looks pretty much like the LLY as far as I can tell.
