What is the normal rpm idle for a 95 6.5 with a standard 5 sp. Mines up in the 800 rpm . thanks guys

Texas Diesel Guy 10-10-2004, 10:59 PM 800 is too fast, are you reading this on the dash tach or a scanner? Sounds to me like a temp sender has gone faulty, Intake Air Temp, Coolant, or Fuel are the likely 3. Get the truck up to operating temp with a scanner installed and see what those 3 sensors read. alan46 10-10-2004, 11:02 PM TDG This is on my dash tach.
