I noticed a Random Surge on my truck at 85 mph. its more of a 2500 rpm problem, I can get it to do it at 55mph in Drive. when I am driving at a steady speed the truck randomly speeds up and slows down. I just recently installed a Preditor Perfromance Box. its a cheap one that raises the Rail pressure it plug into the rail pressure sensor. I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this. It may have done it for a long time I normaly dont cruz at 85mph. whould the higher rail pressure cause something like that?

I would think it would be pilot injection. Edge cured mine. It is very annoying as the truck would surge.

You may want to check your fuel filter. The other day my truck started to surge at high speeds then later it started to miss and buck and I wound up having to do a road side filter change in the middle of no where. After the filter change the truck ran fine. Later I cut the filter open to have a look at it because it only had like 6K on it and it realy didn't look to bad but the change solved my problem. Mike-
