Here goes, wife bought a new Silverado on 9-29, had it 5 days she calls and says it won’t start. Pull out my Fluke shows 6v hmmm, figure bad battery. Put in second battery out of my diesel (which I know is good), starts and charges fine. Next morning going to take it to the stealer, wont start, shows 4V. Re-install original battery, jump it, drive to dealer I bought it from (45mins one way). They have it overnight, wont start. They say "needs battery" so in goes a new one.

10-10am won’t start. Do a little trouble shooting, set my Fluke to amps and at about 6V I’m showing 1.5A draw, start pulling fuses I get to a under hood 50A fuse LBEC2 I pull it and the draw drops in half, anybody know what this is? I also pull the 15A DDM in the dash and the draw fluctuates. This is all KOEO. It’s going back to a local dealer on Monday am, I don’t have a lot of faith in this dealer so if anyone else can think of something I would like to hear from them.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

On edit: took it to the dealer, they're telling me that the drivers mirror's heater will not shut off and they are replacing the mirror.... I thought the mirror heater was controled by the BCM??? anyone??

Your on the right path by pulling fuses to try and isolate the problem but if something is stuck on or there's some kind of short somewhere it's best left to the dealer since that what warranty's are for, and chasing electrical problem's can be a pain in the ass sometimes. In the mean time just disconnect your battery for tonight so you can start it in the morning with out having to jump it.

Good Luck
