Anyone hear about a possible Sprinter pickup in 2008? I searched the web and couldn't find anything official. If true it would be nearly ideal with a small displacement diesel engine and reasonably good fuel economy.

saw a homemade sprinter pickup about a month ago..... does that make it an '07?? :D

I saw a Freightliner document with their large Sprinter panel truck model. Seems like an easy transition to a pickup but I bet their expensive.

Are you sure it wasn't a chasis cab with an after-market bed?

im pretty sure thats what it was.... whichever bed they used didnt mate up very well to the cab

Naw, I never saw it. There was some guy on a diesel forum said there'd be available in 2008.
