Hi,

has anybody a wiring diagram or other information on the plug going into the OEM radio? The radio is a Delco, model number 16210475, the one with the CD player build in.

The Delco will be replaced by an aftermarket one, but it would be nice to make use of the cables already there.

Your best bet is to find an aftermarket harness that attaches
plug-and-play to the OEM connector. If you look at www.crutchfield.com
you can find a harness to match your aftermarket stereo.

Thank you for the links! Buying a harness is a good idea, but the problem is that I'm living in Germany where suitable harnesses are difficult to come by, if at all --- and if they are, they'll be incredibly expensive, like door handles for $90 each or a wiper motor for EUR 220 ... I might have to pay more for the harness than I did for the radio (Alpine CDE-7853R) ... :/

If I knew which cables are the speakers (+ and -), that would help very much. Antenna is obvious, power can be had otherwise.
