Have a set of Kennedy Quick-Heat Glow Plugs for my 96 K-2500 & would like advice from TDP members on the correct procedure or helpfull tips to remove & replace my originals. Thanks - Dave

1,3,5 and 7 usually don't pose much of a problem.

best way I've found for the pass side is to jack the front of the vehicle up to allow more room above the tire in the wheel well. Then unclip the felt mud flap from the fenderwell. using a 15mm 6 point wrench to first break loose the 5 nuts that hold the two wire shields in place, then remove them with a ratchet. Unplug the wires to the two inner plugs and then unplug them from the glowplugs. The first 3 should be relatively easy to remove with a deep 3/8 socket and a wobbly extension. as for #8, bend the rear of the fenderwell out a bit so you can reach a 1/4" drive ratchet and socket in there to get at it, this will be the most time consuming of the 8. also check all 8 connectors for signs of corrosion or breakage and replace them with regular female blade connectors as necessary.

Don't forget to use anti-seize on the new plugs.
