06 LBZ, 38,000 km

I have started noticing a strange noise from the engine on hard acceleration. It sounds like an exhaust leak or a stutter on the driver side. Never seemed to be there from new. It doesn't seem to have affected the power, my milage might be down a bit but is still around 20 MPG. Anyone else hear a sound like this from their Duramax? Is it something to worry about? Thanks

I have heard the same thing on mine and it only has a little over 14,000 miles on it. It sounds like it is on the drivers side and happens under hard throttle like you said. Maybe some of the experts can enlighten us?

I don't hear anything like that.
Possibly bad seal on the driver's side manifold?

Are you suggesting it is something that should be taken to the dealer to get looked at?
