I'm thinking of going from a 20' WW to either a 28' or 32' Gooseneck (brand) trailer. Do any of you folks have either and have you got along well with them, any problems. Both would have triple 7k axles and the 28' weighs 2300lbs. less than the 32' which I still don't really understand . . . 4' difference and it gains 2300 lbs.!?

My thoughts are these: The 28' I could drag with a 3/4 ton or truck, it would be lighter by 2300lbs. and have the same axles as a much heavier 32' that I'm not so sure I could pull with anything but a truck.

I've been thinking on it for several days now and just can't decide.

What is the lite weight and GWR of both trailers.

What do u plan to haul, that makes a big difference.

I pull a 29' Hillsboro with no problem. Trailer weighs around 6500#IIRC.

28/32 its the same trailer, it should still have a gross of 14k.The only problem is if you are using it in the city. You will start to clip curbs for a while until you are used to pulling. Why are do you need the third axle, are you going to spend the extra cash on torsion axles. Will you be using for hotshot or personal use. I have a 40' that I got from Kaufmantrailersales.com for about 5k.
