Did some dyno testing with the RBP tuner for the LMM. Results are as follows.
stock: 300/525
exhaust: 317/567
exhaust + tuner level 1: 327/596
exhaust + tuner level 2: 345/639
exhaust + tuner level 3: 361/662
exhaust + tuner level 4: 395/721

Seems like they'd all be pretty trans safe, except for the level 4 tune. Nice driveable tunes. Sorry I dont know what the EGT's were, no gauges yet. I should have tested them before the exhaust as well, but didnt have enough time. Next time.

Pretty impressive #'s. Can't wait to see the power the aftermarket is getting out of the big three in a year or so.

I think my superchips used to dyno at 387 RWHP and 690 torque. I ran it on that setting for a long time before I bought efilive and the tranny gave me any troubles. Thanks for the dyno testing.

On his other thread, he said it was a downpipe back.

Lev 4 pls exhaust netted only 95 hp???? ppe promises 225 (crank) with their lev 4 so you figure you would see approx 175 rwhp.....

PPE's 225 at the crank netted 65hp at the rear wheels here in Utah (approx 4500 ft). Total hp on level four with an AFE air box = 335 on a mustang dual roller dyno.

Well that sounds like a load of crap...... How does 225 crank = 65rwhp that would mean a 75% drivetrain loss

Not my claim... Ppe says it on their website

rbp is a compeditor to ppe.. i have a rbp exhaust and its nice i also have a ppe tuner and its also very nice .. i really cant say anything bad about either company

To be fair, 4500 ft in altitude causes a significant loss in power ( maybe 8-10%). Stock, the truck is rated at 365, at 4500 feet, we saw 271 stock hp at the rear wheels. Do the math from there, but the 225 claim is a bit high.

did you do this with a PPE tuner or what are you refering to when you say RBP..

So Im just curious if any body on this site has seen any actual dyno charts with the different tuners available for the LMM. I currently have a PPE and love it, but if there is something out there making more power, I would give it a try. I find it hard to believe that the PPE tuner only makes 65 HP at the wheels in the highest setting. Also elavation in a vehicle with a turbo doesnt effect HP as much as a naturally aspirated vehicle. I read somewhere that diesel trucks only lose 2-4% power at elevation.
